Brit Writers Awards 2011

Spotlight UK was at Madame Tussauds on Friday 7th October to do the official multi camera filming and photography of Brit Writers 2011. Brit Writers Awardsaims to honour upcoming and unpublished writers with 12 awards up for grabs. The overall winner of the night was Georgina Kirk with her Children’s story ‘Once Upon a Princess a very Hairy Beard Did Growbeing’ being rewarded with £10,000 and a publishing deal.

Akon and Sharukh Khan - Exclusive Event Coverage

Spotlight UK recentley covered an Exclusive guest list only event at the o2 Arena for Hero. We had backstage access to the start studded event which was presented by Bollywood Megastur Shahrukh Khan (dubbed the King of Bollywood), as well as including attendance and performances from worldwide famous R&B singer Akon, Oscar Award winning composer A.R Rahman, former Formula 1 racer David Coulthard, 6 times Grand Slam champion and Olympic gold medalist Boris Becker and Bollywood stars Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kappo. Example Music Video Filmed at Spotlight UK Studios

Example was recentley in Spotlight UK studios to film for his latest music video using our Infinity Wall Curve Green. The rapper and singer is well known for his hit singles such as Kickstarts and Won't Go Quietly and we will have footage and images released soon. So keep an eye out on our blog!

Reg Ward Tribute Event Coverage

Spotlight UK recent ley filmed the footage at a tribute event for Reg Ward, the LDDC's visionary first Chief Executive, who died on 6th January 2011. The event was attended by people such as Richard Desmond (Head of Channel 5), Howard Dawber (Canary Wharf Group) and Kevin Wall (Barclays) with Lord Heseltine the former as Secretary of State for the Environment making a video message. Limelight (which Spotlight UK is an official partner for) was a red carpet awards night which awarded upcoming filmakers for their good work with 14 awards including a £10,000 production prize for the Film Of The Night winer. Anuvahood Shoot for Flavour Magazine

Jaya Photoshoot

Jaya, the first British-Indian female to be signed to a major label in Universal Records came down to Spotlight UK studios for a photoshoot for INK Magazine.
